On 10, 11 and 12 July 2023, the OneWater science launch days will be held in Lyon: this is an opportunity to find out more about this national water research programme, meet the community and take part in collective, multidisciplinary discussions on the topics covered by the six OneWater challenges.
The first Science Days of the national research programme entitled "OneWater - Water as a Common Good" will be held from 10 to 12 July 2023 in Lyon.

Just over a year after the launch of the "OneWater - Water as a Common Good" national exploratory research programme, OneWater is organising its first Science Days. Over almost three days you can come and find out more about the programme, meet and join the OneWater community and take part in round tables and workshops on the challenges of viable, equitable and sustainable freshwater management.

This event is aimed primarily at the French scientific water community (researchers, lecturer-researchers, PhD and post-doctoral students) and those involved in issues relating to water as a common good.

What to expect

  • Information about the national exploratory research programme and an opportunity to meet the OneWater community.
  • About fifteen workshops and scientific discussions related to the concept of water as a common good.
  • Exceptional participation of members of the International Scientific Committee and researchers from the OneWater programme for the round table: Water as a common good in a context of uncertainty.
  • Feedback from the "Wall-Free Lab" pilot event on 27, 28 and 29 March 2023 at Arc-et-Senans: how can we put forward multidisciplinary approaches to a single complex and shared issue: continental freshwater?

Detailed programme and registration below for up to 400 participants.
