Addressing the challenges of the energy and ecological transition

Every two years, the entire French community involved in the field of geotechnics comes together for the National Convention on Geotechnics and Engineering Geology (JNGG). The aim is to address the following topics: site reconnaissance, the behaviour of different geomaterials, the behaviour of buildings and structures and their numerical modelling, and the improvement and reinforcement of soil and rock formations.

Organised by the IC2MP laboratory at the University of Poitiers, JNGG 2024 will be held at the Poitiers National School of Engineering (ENSI) from 25 to 28 June. This year's convention will focus on the challenges of energy and ecological transition.
