Following the 100% digital Forum held in 2020, the collaborative public-sector platform idealCO, Réseau Risques, the Ministry of Ecological Transition and the Montpellier Mediterranean Metropolitan Council are inviting you to attend the 14th IRISES Forum on 9 and 10 February 2022 at the Hôtel du Département de l’Hérault in Montpellier. You can also participate in the Forum online.

Natural hazards and innovation in the context of climate change

This year, the theme of the Forum will be “Natural hazards and innovation in the context of climate change”.

Every year for the past 13 years, IRISES has been an unmissable event for those in local and regional government services involved with communication and awareness-raising among local residents about natural hazard issues in their area.

This event will provide plenty of opportunities for participants to discuss and assess:

  • the latest regulations and requirements for local and regional authorities;
  • the steps taken to ensure that residents are safe and aware of natural hazards and technological risks;
  • training of elected representatives, those employed in local government services and industry on disaster management, permanent on-call duty for the management of natural, weather-related, industrial and other hazard events, prevention tools and related topics.
