Care-Peat is an Interreg project with nine partners working together to reduce carbon emissions and restore the carbon-storage capacity of different types of peatlands in north-west Europe. Not only are peatlands habitats for highly specialised flora and fauna, they also play an important role in global climate regulation.

Agenda

This free event offers two workshops: 

  • 10:00-12:00: Workshop 1 - How can the different levels of political decision-making be better integrated in order to improve peatland restoration strategies?
  • 14:00-16:00: Workshop 2 - Which economic models are needed for peatlands in France?
