The European subsurface in 2030

GEODAYS is an international business convention organised by AVENIA and dedicated to the subsurface industries.

The goal of the 2023 edition is to bring together all the players involved in the subsurface in order to meet the challenges raised by a sovereign European industry. The objective is to draft a "Subsurface Innovation" roadmap through to 2030. Subsurface industries play a fundamental role, whether in providing low-carbon solutions, securing supplies of energy and mining resources, managing water resources for multiple uses or supporting regional development.

BRGM will be presenting its innovation-oriented expertise in a variety of topics relating to the subsurface, including:

  • geothermal energy
  • innovative uses
  • data integration
  • drilling
  • development planning
  • characterisation and monitoring.
