BRGM and INERIS are organising a Technical Symposium on Polluted Sites and Soils, to be held in Paris on 1 December 2022. Also accessible online, the event is being organised in collaboration with the French Ministry of Ecological Transition and will address the latest news and feedback from the field.

Polluted sites and soils: all the latest news from 2022

This technical symposium devoted to the management of polluted sites and soils will essentially review the latest news from the field in 2022.

The day will begin with a general review of the current situation. This will be followed by thematic sessions on the following topics:

  • decontamination and rebound effects,
  • taking biodiversity into account in the management of polluted sites and soils,
  • diagnosis (behaviour and toxicity of pollutants, sampling and metrology).
