BRGM is taking part in the 28th edition of the Colloquium of African Geology (CAG28), which will be held online from 6 to 8 July 2022.

The Geological Society of Africa (GSAf) is organising the 28th edition of the Colloquium of African Geology.
Its main objectives are to:
- promote an understanding of earth sciences and improve the level of education and research in earth sciences in Africa,
- provide a forum to discuss and disseminate information across national boundaries between the scientists, associations and institutions involved in African geology and land-based resources,
- promote the development and sustainable management of the continent's land-based resources in order to further its socio-economic development,
- improve natural hazard assessment and disaster mitigation.
