After 16 years of activity, the Plan Séisme website closed down in 2021.
Since 2005, the Plan Séisme website has helped raise awareness by informing citizens, communities and professionals about earthquake risks. It is now obsolete and will be replaced by other means of communication.
You can find information on earthquakes on the following websites:
- The Géorisques website and its dossier and data on earthquakes
- The dedicated pages on the website of the Environment Ministry
- The dedicated pages on the government website for prevention of major risks
- The website of the French association of earthquake engineering
- The website of the French Central Seismological Bureau
- The site of the historical seismicity of France
- The website of the French seismological and geodesic network
The many information resources available on the site to help users to understand the phenomenon and to prevent and take measures in the event of an earthquake occurring, will soon be available in the BRGM information ecosystem.
