The Géoloquiz educational game updates the traditional Jeu de l’oie (goose game, akin to Snakes and Ladders) to introduce young people aged 9 to 15 to geology.

The aim of Géoloquiz, BRGM's new board game, is to adapt the classic goose game to raise young people's awareness of geology.
Along a course of 36 squares, players will discover the importance of rocks in our daily lives, the history of the Earth, volcanoes and even dinosaurs!
Instead of the traditional bonuses and penalties, participants can find gold nuggets and diamonds – or face earthquakes. Each square on the board features a question or action related to the Earth sciences, making each game as instructive as it is playful.
A fun way to learn
Aimed at young people aged 9 to 15, Géoloquiz aims to awaken their scientific curiosity and raise their awareness of the challenges of the geosciences while introducing the basics of sustainable development.
Ideal for teachers, activity leaders and educational establishments, this game offers a playful, interactive approach to the Earth sciences.
