BRGM and INSTN, two major energy research institutions, have signed a partnership agreement. The two organisations had already jointly organised visits and a conference as part of the Master’s degree course in Energy Economics taught at INSTN. By signing this agreement, the two institutions are demonstrating their desire to structure future exchanges, particularly in terms of training students and young researchers.
Training students and young researchers in the field of energy
Through this collaboration, BRGM and INSTN undertake to analyse the training courses in which experts from the national geological survey could be involved, and to assess the needs of both parties in the field of mineral and energy intelligence. In addition, they are expressing their intention to develop all types of courses relating to their energy knowledge. The agreement also opens the door to joint participation in events such as conferences and trade fairs.
Under the aegis of Pascal Yvon, Director of INSTN, and Christophe Poinssot, Deputy CEO of BRGM, this partnership will be operational for a renewable period of three years.
