BRGM, in partnership with the universities of Tours and Orléans and INSA Centre-Val de Loire, set up a data centre in 2021, an advanced, pooled infrastructure for hosting digital services, dedicated to researchers and higher education teachers in the Centre Val-de-Loire region.
On 20 January 2026, AFNOR awarded BRGM ISO 27001 certification for its Centre-Val de Loire digital hosting infrastructure and the provision of corresponding pooled services.
Recognition of digital security and a guarantee of trustworthiness for partners
ISO 27001 certification certifies that BRGM is implementing an Information Security Management System (ISMS) that complies with international best practice.
For our partners, this is objective proof of the high standards we have set and the seriousness with which we host and process the data entrusted to us. It guarantees rigorous management of the risks associated with data confidentiality, integrity and availability. It confirms our structured and sustainable approach to reducing risks and making services secure.
