The International Symposium on Managed Aquifer Recharge (ISMAR) is the leading international event on managed aquifer recharge research and practices. The event is held every 3 or 4 years under the auspices of the International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO).
From 28 April to 2 May 2025 in Stellenbosch, South Africa, this symposium will host national and international stakeholders in the area of aquifer recharge, along with researchers in all areas of water resource management (hydrogeology, geochemistry, microbiology, modelling, economics, etc.).
