BRGM will be taking part in the 13th French National Convention on Geotechnics and Engineering Geology (JNGG 2026) to be held in Grenoble from 7 to 10 April 2026, organised by the Committee for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnics (CFMS), the Committee for Rock Mechanics (CFMR) and the Committee for Engineering Geology and the Environment (CFGI).
JNGG 2026 offers a programme of plenary and parallel conferences and technical visits.
Oral and poster presentations will cover a wide range of topics of interest to the geotechnics and engineering geology community and its various stakeholders (project owners and contractors, engineers, design offices, companies, inspection offices, technical services, academic and public research bodies, teaching and training organisations).
JNGG 2026 will also host a technical exhibition that will enable the sector's various players (companies, design offices, hardware and software suppliers, etc.) to promote their activities and products.
Practical information
The 13th JNGG will be hosted by the Graduate School of sustainable engineering for Energy, Water and Environment (ENSE3), a member of Grenoble INP-UGA, located at 21 Avenue des Martyrs in Grenoble.
