Christophe Poinssot, Deputy Managing Director of BRGM, will introduce the first 'Geoscience for Society' Forum, to be held in Paris on 9 March 2023.
First 'Geoscience for Society' Forum
Designed to facilitate networking between companies active in the various geoscience fields, this one-day event will be an opportunity for participants to discuss different views on the role of geoscience in the necessary energy transition that is now under way.
The event will be introduced by Christophe Poinssot, Deputy Managing Director of BRGM, alongside Philippe Logak, General Rapporteur of the Haut-Commissariat au Plan, with responsibility for geothermal energy projects.
The event will be organised around two themes:
- The challenges of geoscience: energy, climate and environment, resources,
- New technologies for geoscience.
Programme:
- Brief presentations by participating companies,
- Round-table discussions,
- BtoB meetings.
The 2022 Geology and Enterprise prize will also be awarded at the event.
