Gonéri Le Cozannet, coastal risk specialist at BRGM and co-author of the sixth part of the IPCC report, will host the fourth presentation organised as part of the Rendez-vous Climat d'Antea Group on Thursday 6 April at 6:30 pm in Orléans.

Climate change: coastal risks and adaptation solutions for the coastlines

Rising sea levels are now widely recognised as a major threat to coastlines. Gonéri Le Cozannet will discuss the reasons for this, and the consequences in terms of coastal erosion and the greater risk of coastal flooding in mainland France and French overseas territories. He will talk about possible adaptation solutions and present his work in modelling rising sea levels.
