Training Methods
Face-to-face: classroom training and practical fieldwork
Our training programmes combine classroom-based learning with real-world field activities, offering participants both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience. We operate a dedicated training facility at our Scientific and Technical Centre in Orléans, supported by additional centres across mainland France and overseas.
All of our buildings are fully accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Distance learning
Virtual classes, available for all or part of the course.
E-learning
Individual training through our LMS platform.
Exclusive 100% online training with engaging content to develop your skills at your own pace.
Trainers
More than 100 scientists contribute to BRGM Formation, united by a shared commitment to passing on their knowledge and expertise.
A full spectrum of expertise is represented – from geologists and geotechnicians to hydrogeologists, modellers, geophysicists, geochemists, natural hazard engineers, and environmental specialists.
BRGM Formation also collaborates with a wide range of public and private partners to deliver a broad selection of tailor-made training programmes, adapted to the specific needs of each organisation.
