CO2 capture and storage projects around the world
This map, which presents an overview of existing and forecast CCS projects around the world as of September 2009, was printed especially for the 3rd international symposium organised by ADEME, BRGM and IFP on the Capture and geological storage of CO2,
" Accelerating deployment " , held in Paris on 5-6 November 2009.
The map shows the geographic localisation of each capture- and/or storage-oriented project, with symbols depicting the scale (pilot-demo-industrial) and status (operational-potential). Two tables classified by country provide complementary information such as leaders, start-up date, amount of CO2 captured/injected, capture process, type of storage, etc.
