ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING CENTRE

The "Environmental testing centre" unit makes all its resources for: 

• multi-scale experimentation to analyse the environmental behaviour of pollutants, waste and materials,
• and for designing treatment / valorization processes (biological, physico-chemical, thermal),

available to all "Environment and Processes" Division projects, and also to BRGM's other operational divisions and outside clients.

It is structured around

• three dedicated laboratories (biotechnologies, solid-liquid interaction, materials behaviour),
• a pilot plant (2000 square metres with several specialized units - dry grinding, wet processing, white minerals, biotechnology and hydrometallurgy),
• and an outside platform (400 square metres).
