PUBLIC SERVICE

Public Support Activities in the contaminated-environment and waste domain is structured around:

• the task of drawing up regional historical inventories (RHI) of former industrial sites, and of preserving and disseminating the collected data via the national BASIAS databank
  

• knowledge acquisition and synthesis, technical expertise in support of public policies related the industrial environment and the management of (potentially) contaminated land and the waste and storage industries .

• Diagnostic of soils in school:
  The second National Environmental Health Plan 2009-2013 provides in action 19 the identification of schools built on sites potentially contaminated due to former industrial activities...
  

• "Sites et Sol Pollués" web pages: Maintenance of the thematic pages on the website of the ministry for sustainable development. Dissemination of the nationa methodological guidelines and tools for contaminated land management.
  

• ELDORADO: Inventory and Diagnosis for the rehabilitation of municipal solid waste landfills and related sites.
