SERVICE ACTIONS

BRGM's international service actions mainly concern institutional support and technical assistance, studies and training in:

• the environmental domain of industrial sites and polluted sites and soils, and reasoned management of resources relative to industrial processes,

• waste characterization, management and storage conditions,

• materials characterization, the development of industrial processing and valorization methods, including clean technologies and decontamination processes, and reasoned resource management ,

• "Mining and the Environment: BRGM Group Services" (French - English )

Some examples of activities

• Contribution in revising the MODECOM® waste charectization methodology,

• Carrying out municipal solid waste characterization campaigns,

• Undertaking technical studies relative to the analysis, diagnosis and optimization of the collection and processing of municipal solid waste and related products,

• Environmental assessment of regional waste elimination plans.
